I went to Copenhagen last week with the national U17 to participate at the Danish Junior Cup. My favorite tournament, lots of good games against tough and strong opponents. I couldn't win a match in the individual event. I played a good men's single against Hammarberg from Sweden, but he was stronger. Mixed doubles (with Steffi Van De Vel) was a close game. Lindahl & Terp-Nilsen won in 3 sets. I played men's doubles with Robby Bronselaer against a Danish team (seeded n°8). Second set was pretty good.

Team Belgium (Julien Carraggi, Jona Van Nieuwkerke, Robby Bronselaer, Joke De Langhe, Kirstin Boonen, Steffi Van De Vel and Ann-Sofie Ruus) ended 5th place at the team event. We won against Norway and Finland, Sweden and Zealand were stronger than us. I won some of my matches. Time to work hard now and go back next year to perform better.
