I've played last weekend in Aire-sur-la-Lys my first international tournament of 2017. I look back on my results with mixed feelings. I had a tough draw in men's singles. I lost against James Penver (ENG) in the first round in 2 sets (21/19 - 21/19). I had my chances but James was more solid at the end of each game. I've played men's doubles with Robby Bronselaer, we managed to win our first match in 2 sets. A French pair was stronger than us in the secound round. Mixed doubles (with Steffi Van De Vel) was pretty good, we've reached the quarter finals. I'm sure if I keep on the hard work that my results in Europe will improve.
